As a former Olympic athlete, I bring a unique perspective grounded in resilience and purposeful growth because I know what it’s like to be under a lot of pressure. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection, given me a unique perspective into the effects of trauma and the importance of meeting individuals where they are. I carry these insights directly into my clinical work because I hope to give back more than I’ve received, turning my experiences into positive outcomes for others. I also have a particular interest in working with athletes, at any level, including young people in school sports and community programs who may be experiencing the emotional and psychological demands that come with athletic life. I welcome the opportunity to serve those individuals wherever our paths cross through the communities I support.
