Angela Ranelli

I am an intern at Thaar Care Foundation, completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University. I largely use an integrative approach, tailoring my style to fit each client’s unique needs and treatment goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and existential therapy informed approaches, I aim to promote insight and self-reflection while helping clients develop practical tools for change. I also enjoy incorporating mindfulness and grounding techniques into practice, when applicable. My priority is to provide a safe space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences.

I am open to working with clients of all ages and backgrounds— I am especially passionate about working with children and adolescents who are at-risk, underserved, or may otherwise fall through the cracks. My experience includes supporting children with behavioral challenges and individuals dealing with anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and career challenges. In every therapeutic relationship, I aim to foster resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth.
