Wine Tasting 2023

September 2023 was a busy month for Thaar Care Foundation! We held our 2nd Taste for Life event. We are grateful for our sponsors and donors who showed up to support Suicide prevention.

The money raised at this event supports our clients who may not have the financial means to afford mental health support and counseling. The dollars raised are used to aid clients so that they are able to attend counseling and receive support for a life with healthy mental health.

If you would like to make a donation, be a sponsor, receive counseling, or be a volunteer email us directly at thaarcarefoundation@gmail.com. In the subject line please list your interest. Thank you to all who participated this year in Taste for Life.

Sterling Heights Healthy Living Expo

On May 24, 2023 our team attended the Healthy Living Expo at the Sterling Heights Pavilion.

The expo included health screenings, presentations on health, meal prep ideas, health education and more. The first 300 guests received a free lunch!

We were excited to participate in this event and introduce our newest office location in Sterling Heights located at 43329 Schoenherr, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. It was a great opportunity to meet some of the residents that make up the population that we serve in Macomb County.

If you have an event or know someone in Macomb or Oakland County please refer them to

thaarcarefoundation@gmail.com to set up services and or outreach you would like us to participate in.

Storypoint Chesterfield Visit

On Saturday June 17th, we had the pleasure of doing outreach work at StoryPoint Chesterfield senior living center. Along with two of our interns, we went for a visit to chat and do a little group therapy as well.

Seniors are one of the most under-supported age groups for mental health issues. They are often isolated, without family or friends support. They very often end up very depressed without an avenue to express their feelings, sadness, and needs. We are often able to support you and your senior friends and families with outreach visits, and one on one therapy.

During this visit we were able to engage with the residence by playing corn hole, making homemade danish, and mostly laugh with the residence.

If you or someone you know is in need of outreach and therapy please email us at thaarcarefoundation@gmail.com
