I get it—life can feel like you’re carrying a backpack full of rocks up a hill without a map. And sometimes, those rocks are named anxiety, depression, grief, or even addiction. My goal as a therapist is to help you unpack that weight, one pebble at a time, until the load is lighter and the journey feels a little less uphill.
I see therapy as a shared path we walk together, side by side. Using a humanistic approach, I believe that each person has an innate capacity for growth and self-discovery. I’m here not only for the big breakthroughs but also to celebrate every small victory along the way – because those small steps? They add up to a much bigger, brighter picture. Everyone deserves a fulfilling, peaceful life, even though most of us weren’t given the tools to get there. Together, we’ll build that toolkit—using mindfulness to find calm within the chaos and cognitive behavioral techniques to untangle those tricky thoughts.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me exploring nature with my dogs, who bring their own brand of therapeutic presence, or planning my next adventure. Getting out into the world helps me recharge, and I bring that calm, grounded energy back to my practice. Life might not come with a manual, but with a little humor, a lot of heart, and a few therapy tools, I believe we can navigate it—and make it a journey worth taking.
